Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing, or using Mizan, you agree to these Terms. If you use the app on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business. Replace [governing law / jurisdiction — TODO] before production use.

Mizan provides a cloud-backed ledger for credit and rental shops. It is not accounting, tax, or legal advice software. You are responsible for the accuracy of entries and for compliance with local commercial and consumer laws.

Access is provided through invited email accounts with owner/staff roles. Keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend access for suspected abuse or non-payment.

Paid features are offered on a subscription basis per business (trial, then active monthly or yearly). Prices and billing channels are shown in the app or provided by Hikma Solutions. Refund terms are agreed with Hikma Solutions unless stated otherwise in writing.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful purposes or to harass others
• Attempt to breach security or access another shop's data
• Reverse engineer or scrape the service except where law permits
• Upload malware or interfere with infrastructure
• Resell or sublicense the service without authorization

You retain ownership of business data you enter. You grant us a license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide and improve the service. Our Privacy Policy describes personal data handling.

We strive for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify features with reasonable notice where practical. Beta or preview builds may be offered as-is.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIKMA SOLUTIONS AND ITS SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS/DATA. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO [amount or fees paid in prior 12 months — TODO].

You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend for breach or legal requirement. Provisions that by nature should survive (liability limits, governing law) survive termination.
